The fund invests in companies quoted on African stock exchanges together with companies quoted outside of Africa where the majority of income or profit comes from within Africa.

The fund invests in ordinary shares principally, but has the flexibility to invest in fixed-income securities and other money-market instruments.

The fund is an actively managed, long-only fund and an open-ended SICAV operated under the Undertakings for Collective Investments in Transferable Securities (UCITS III) directive and regulated by the CSSF in Luxembourg.

The fund aims to generate attractive double-digit returns on an annual basis over the long term and does not aim to beat or track an index.
