These are the organisations that have worked closely with us to help facilitate the Alquity brand and products:
The One Foundation
The One Foundation is set to become one of the largest grant-giving foundations in the UK and has already donated more than £ 6 million to humanitarian causes in Africa. The association goes back several years. The One Foundation is Alquity’s charity partner and is responsible for the reinvestment of the minimum 25% of our management fees generated by the Africa Fund into microfinance projects in Africa.
PRI
The United Nations-backed Principles for Responsible Investment Initiative (PRI) is a network of international investors working together to put the six Principles for Responsible Investment into practice. The Principles were devised by the investment community. They reflect the view that environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) issues can affect the performance of investment portfolios and therefore must be given appropriate consideration by investors if they are to fulfil their fiduciary (or equivalent) duty. The Principles provide a voluntary framework by which all investors can incorporate ESG issues into their decision-making and ownership practices and so better align their objectives with those of society at large. Alquity is a signatory to the United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment.
MSCI ESG Research
They are the recognised industry standard in financial risk management. Their bespoke investment risk analysis tool, ESG Impact Monitor, helps ensure that our Environmental, Social and Governance research and analysis is as thorough, far-reaching and accurate as possible.
UKSIF
UKSIF is the membership network for sustainable and responsible financial services. They promote responsible investment and other forms of finance that support sustainable economic development, enhance quality of life and safeguard the environment. They also seek to ensure that individual and institutional investors can reflect their values in their investments. Alquity is a UKSIF member since 2010.
